Conversation Based Outbound

Build Predictable Pipeline

Road to Revenue generates qualified sales conversations with your target market that turn into pipeline for your business. I build the list, run the outbound system, and book qualified meetings. You close the deals.

The problem

Closing deals and building pipeline are two different jobs.

Most founders and sales leaders are great at closing opportunities. Building a predictable outbound pipeline is a completely different discipline. When other priorities come up, prospecting is usually the first thing to get pushed aside.

01

Outbound gets deprioritized

Everyone knows they should prospect. Few teams do it consistently when other priorities compete for attention.

02

Hiring an SDR is a major commitment

Hiring, training, and managing an SDR takes time, money, and patience before you know if the motion works.

03

Outbound infrastructure is expensive

Prospecting databases, dialers, enrichment tools, CRM software, sequencing platforms, and phone systems all cost money before the first conversation is ever booked.

04

The pipeline doesn't build itself

Every month without consistent outbound is a month of missed conversations, missed opportunities, and future revenue that never enters the pipeline.

How it works

How we'll work together

Three steps to get started. Then three things that run together for as long as we're working together.

01
Step one

Discovery call

A 30 minute call to run through your current numbers and process to determine if we're a fit. If I don't believe we're a fit, I'll tell you on the front end.

02
Step two

Kickoff call

We align on your ICP and review messaging. I get your approval on both before the campaign begins.

03
Step three

I build a list of target accounts in your ICP

I source and verify a list of prospects that match your ICP.

Once we're live

Calling begins

I make calls for you and book meetings with prospects who have problems you can solve. If a meeting doesn't make sense, I gather useful data.

Live client dashboard

You get a live dashboard showing every conversation, disposition, and call recording, updated weekly. See a sample dashboard.

Bi-weekly check ins

A 30 minute call every two weeks to review what's working, what's not, and any changes to make.

Pricing

Start with a pilot. Scale by the conversation.

Designed to validate outbound fit before scaling volume.

Conversation Based Model

What counts as a conversation

A conversation is a two way dialogue over 60 seconds in length with a decisionmaker in your ICP that results in one of the following:

  • A meeting gets booked.
  • A follow up action item is set.
  • The prospect gives a real reason for a no.

What doesn't count

Gatekeepers, quick hang ups, and brush offs do not count as conversations.

We'll discuss the criteria for a conversation in detail during your kickoff call.

Why I Price on Conversations

  • No incentive to inflate or force meetings that don't make sense
  • Conversations are the first real input in the outbound funnel that leads to pipeline
  • Pricing aligns with execution volume, not subjective qualification outcomes
  • Every meeting is downstream of a conversation, but not every conversation should be forced into a meeting

The comparison

Hiring an SDR vs Road to Revenue

A full time hire is a bigger bet than most founders realize once you add up the real cost.

Hiring an SDR (Industry Benchmark) Road to Revenue
$80K median OTE ($55K base + $25K variable) $50 per sales conversation
$90K to $120K fully loaded cost (salary, taxes, benefits) No payroll, taxes, or benefits
3 month ramp time before full productivity Start generating conversations within days
40% annual SDR turnover (ongoing replacement risk) No hiring or replacement cycle required
$500 to $1,500 per month SDR tech stack per rep Tools, data, and dialing infrastructure included
Recruiting, onboarding, and ramp costs before first results No recruiting or onboarding costs
Requires SDR leadership and coaching Fully managed execution system

Benchmark data reflects 2025 SDR industry research (Bridge Group SDR Metrics Report, 351 B2B companies surveyed).

Wrong Turn

Reasons not to work with me

Being upfront about who this isn't for saves both of us time.

01

Your average deal size is under $10,000 ACV

Outbound economics become difficult to justify at lower deal sizes.

02

You do not have a clear ideal customer profile

List quality is the foundation of outbound. Without a defined ICP, results become inconsistent.

03

You're looking for an email only campaign

I specialize in cold calling and live conversations, not email heavy outbound systems.

04

You expect the outbound partner to close deals for you

I generate and book qualified meetings. Your team handles closing.

05

Your offer or pricing is not clearly defined yet

Outbound amplifies clarity. It does not fix a broken offer.

06

You need a fully staffed call center or a multi rep team

I run a focused, personal operation. I personally handle all campaigns and work with a limited number of clients at a time.

Road to Revenue

About

Outbound is a skill I've been building for the past decade across B2B sales roles.

Most people think outbound is about sending messages or booking meetings. In reality, it's about consistently starting the right conversations with the right people so pipeline becomes predictable.

Road to Revenue exists because most founders don't have the time or focus to run outbound properly while also running the rest of the business.

I build the outbound system from start to finish. That includes the list, the tooling, and the conversations themselves. You focus on closing deals and growing the business.

Built and operated by Chance Baker.
